Boudoir can be kind of daunting and lots of my clients have lots of questions. I looooove questions!!! Here are a couple of my frequently asked questions and their answers! If you have any of your own questions, send me a message! I'd love to chat with ya!
1. Should I get prints or an album?
I think so!! However, PLEASE DO NOT get them from Walmart or Walgreens. They will not do your photos justice... nor do we want them to see your photos. I (and most boudoir photographers) have private boudoir print shops that we work with. They are amazing quality and ship quickly!
2. I don't know how to pose... how can I prep?
IGOTCHU! I will guide you through every single pose we do. The only thing you need to do before your session is stretch! We are going to do a lot of back-arching and toe-pointing! If you do see any poses that you would like to do during your session let me know!
3. Why does it cost so much?
I'll be honest... my prices are on the low end, and I have my reasons for that, which I won't get into now. BUT There's a lot that goes into a photography business- so much more than clicking a button and putting a filter on it.
Quality photography equipment is expensive! Not to mention, website fees, subscription fees, studio rentals, etc. It adds up on our end. On the other hand, boudoir is an experience unlike any other and we want it to be perfect!
Your money goes into making your boudoir experience the best! You cannot put a price on the experience of celebrating yourself and your body.
4. Do I have to pay it all at once?
I do require a $100 booking fee when you book your session. After that, I can do customizable payment plans leading up to your session!

5. Can I bring a friend?
If bringing a friend will help you feel more comfortable and confident, I don't have a problem with it! But if they aren't going to hype you up then meet up with them afterward 😉
6. Can I bring My Own Props?
YES, I only ask that you let me know beforehand so I can prepare!
7. Can You Edit This or That?
I retouch skin using what I call the "Two Week Rule" If something on your skin won't be there in 2 weeks, I edit it out. That includes: acne, bruises, scrapes, scratches, etc. I do not edit out stretch marks, cellulite, smile lines, etc. Those are very normal parts of our bodies that I love to celebrate!
Along with that, I will not modify your body during my editing process (ex: make boobs or butt bigger, stomach smaller, etc).
8. Do I have to let you post my photos on social media?
No, not at all. I value your privacy and boundaries more than anything! I send out a questionnaire when you book and in that, I ask whether or not you'd be okay with me sharing any photo, any photo that doesn't show your face or no photos. And I will not be upset if you change your mind later!

9. Do I have to Wear Lingerie?
Nope! I've had clients wear a bra and jeans, a crop top and shorts, military jackets, jerseys, you name it!
10. What can I do to prevent looking bloated?
Avoid foods that you know make you feel bloated.
The most common food is gluten. But, please do not starve yourself! Also, be comforted in knowing that I as your photographer know what I'm doing. I will pose you in flattering poses.
If there are any areas of your body that you are especially self-conscious about, let me know and we can avoid those areas.
