They climbed higher and higher up the mountainside, with each switchback seemingly closer to the sky. No wonder the name of this road was called “Going to the Sun Road”. It felt like they were so elevated they could touch the sun at any moment—a notion that would have been frowned upon by the likes of Icarus. Next, they came over Logan Pass, and they fell back out of the clouds which revealed some of the most spectacular views available in the United States. Following their wedding the previous day in the forests of Montana, Candace, Andrew, and their photographers took an adventure for their cloudy Glacier National Park wedding formal session.

As they walked toward St. Mary’s Lake, the clouds overhead continued to break from the threatening passing storm and the wind whipped Candace’s wedding dress around her. The views were so vast they almost overwhelmed the cameras, requiring Jessie and Dallin to use panoramic techniques to capture the scene.

Moving on to the next location, bear spray at the ready, Andrew led them through areas recovering from a past forest fire. Suddenly, he halted, causing everyone to stop and look up. Ahead was a large, black shape almost the size of a small car. Quickly, they reached for the bear spray, ready to aim, only to realize it was just a large, charred log that looked remarkably like a black bear. They laughed it off and continued to the incredible locations awaiting them.
