Cosmic Flow is a healing practice that combines the sacred disciplines of yoga, meditation and sound healing, creating a peaceful space for relaxation, self-care and connection amidst the whirlwind of wedding planning and preparation. The practice is a moving meditation that begins and ends with a sound bath that will leave you feeling deeply present and connected to your heart. Surrounded by the cliffs of Zion, or at your Airbnb or wedding venue, incorporating yoga and meditation into your wedding will be a magical part of your special day that you, your partner and your loved ones will cherish forever.

Incorporating yoga and meditation into your wedding

On a beautiful day in early October, I had the honor of holding a Cosmic Flow session for the wedding party of Olivia and Michael on the morning of their wedding reception. As their special day was approaching, the stress of planning the wedding had begun to take a toll, and they longed for a moment of tranquility amidst the chaos. A dear friend suggested that they try a yoga and sound bath session in the heart of nature, and intrigued by the idea, they eagerly incorporated the session into their day.

The session was held beneath the sun at their incredible wedding venue, surrounded by the cliffs of Zion National Park. The bride and the groom, along with their friends and family, were invited to lie down on their mats with their eyes closed as they were guided into a deep meditation and sound bath, simultaneously showered with golden rays of sunlight and the etheric resonance of the crystal bowls.

As the yoga session progressed, the group was encouraged to connect deeply with their breath and the energy of the natural world surrounding them. With each inhale, they drew in the life force of the desert, and with each exhale, they released the remaining tension or worry. The bride and groom found themselves syncing their movements, their bodies moving in harmony with the rhythm of Mother Nature.

As the yoga session neared its end, the group was again invited to lie down on their mats with their eyes closed, embracing the powerful sound bath experience. The melodic tones merged with the symphony of the birds in the landscape, creating a captivating harmony that seemed to resonate with the group’s very souls. As the wedding party surrendered to the healing vibrations, they felt a profound sense of peace. At that moment, they became one with the natural world surrounding them, their hearts beating in sync with each other and the earth's rhythm.

When the session came to an end, much of the group was in tears, overcome with the beauty and profundity of the experience. Olivia and Michael slowly opened their eyes, feeling a renewed sense of clarity, presence, and joy. They realized that the time in nature combined with incorporating yoga and meditation into their wedding, had not only provided them with a much-needed respite from the wedding whirlwind but had also deepened their connection as a couple and with their loved ones supporting them and celebrating their love on their special day.

How is Cosmic Flow Healing perfect for a wedding day?

Cosmic Flow is not only an incredibly special and unique experience for incorporating yoga and meditation into your wedding celebration, it truly provides a myriad of benefits ranging from stress relief, to mindfulness and presence, to physical and mental well-being, to connection and bonding, to energy alignment. Whether you choose to have a private couples session under the stars the night before your ceremony, a session with your wedding party the morning of your reception, or perhaps a session for your bachelorette party, Cosmic Flow is a deeply intentional way to celebrate the profound new journey that you are embarking on.

1. Stress Relief:

Weddings can be stressful events, but incorporating yoga and meditation into your wedding can help you to relax and reduce stress and anxiety. Cosmic Flow begins and ends with a crystal alchemy sound bath, which uses bowls made of quartz crystal to create vibrations and sounds that promote release and rejuvenation. The yoga portion of the practice combines deep breathing and gentle movement, which calms and opens the body, heart and mind.

2. Mindfulness and Presence:

Yoga and meditation encourage you to step fully into the present moment by utilizing intentional breath and intentional thought to cultivate mindfulness. Cosmic Flow assists you in setting a peaceful and loving tone for your wedding experience.

3. Physical and mental well-being:

Yoga is known to improve both physical and mental well-being, which is especially beneficial on your wedding day. It increases flexibility, strength, and balance, helping you feel more comfortable and confident throughout the day. Yoga also promotes mental clarity and emotional stability, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the joyous occasion.

4. Connection and Bonding:

Participating in yoga and a sound bath with your partner, bridal party, or loved ones creates a deep sense of connection and bonding. Cosmic Flow is a unique and intimate experience that will bring you closer together before the ceremony, fostering unity and support.

5. Energy Alignment:

Both yoga and sound baths help align and balance your energy centers, known as chakras. This promotes a sense of harmony and well-being, and enhances your overall wedding experience. Balanced energy also positively impacts your interactions with others, creating a peaceful and joyful atmosphere.
