As van lifers, Susan the florist, and myself, Joleen, Love Wildly, the photographer, have imagined an elopement on salt flats for years. The dreamy landscape looked like it was straight from a world made of pastels and sunsets. So as we started to brainstorm for this elopement inspiration shoot, we wanted every element to look like was straight from cotton candy pastel watercolor painting.
Chloe and Joziah, our couple, celebrating their 1st anniversary, drove all the way from California. When we arrived, there was a freezing storm. It was so cold that every gust of wind turned into a snow flurry. Luckily the storm cleared, and we explored the Salt Flats, pausing for hot cups of tea and blankets. Then we were left with the most beautiful sunset.
